Senior operations leader joins Konsyg to lead global operations and automation as the company scales internationally.
-- Konsyg, a global B2B sales outsourcing and B2B lead generation company, has appointed Sumit Sharma as Vice President of Operations and Innovation, effective September 2026.
Sharma will lead Konsyg’s global operations and automation strategy and will be responsible for strengthening the systems, processes and operating structure that support the company’s continued international growth.
His mandate will encompass operational excellence, process improvement, automation, systems integration, reporting and operational visibility. Working across the organisation, Sharma will focus on building a more connected and scalable operating model while identifying areas where automation can improve efficiency, consistency and productivity.
Sharma brings more than 20 years of experience across operations, business transformation and multi-site leadership. His background includes leading large teams and complex operations, improving business performance, developing operating processes and supporting organisations through periods of growth and change.

Building the Operating Model for Konsyg’s Next Stage
Sharma joins Konsyg as the company continues to expand across markets, clients and teams. That growth requires the operational infrastructure behind the business to keep pace.
Konsyg is strengthening how its people, processes, systems and data work together across the organisation. Sharma will lead this effort from an operations and automation perspective, working closely with leadership and functional teams across the business.
William Gilchrist, Founder and CEO of Konsyg, said:
“Sumit’s appointment is an investment in the company we are building for the years ahead. As Konsyg grows internationally, our operational infrastructure has to grow with it.”
Operations and Automation Under One Mandate
Sharma’s appointment brings two closely connected areas — operations and automation — under dedicated senior leadership.
His focus will include strengthening internal processes, improving operational visibility, connecting systems and workflows, and identifying manual or repetitive work that automation can handle more effectively.
This approach will extend across the organisation, including the infrastructure supporting Konsyg’s sales operations, data management, reporting, prospecting workflows and internal commercial processes.
The objective is straightforward: build an organisation that can handle greater scale without creating unnecessary operational complexity.
Suchana Basu, Chief of Staff at Konsyg, said:
“Growth brings complexity. Our responsibility is to make sure complexity does not become the way we operate.
As we expand, we need stronger alignment between our people, processes, systems and data. We need teams to have clarity, leadership to have better visibility and our operational structure to support the pace at which the business is growing.
Sumit will work closely with teams and me across the organisation to strengthen that foundation. His experience will be particularly important as we look at where processes can be simplified, where systems need to be better connected and where automation can remove unnecessary manual work.
For us, this is not simply a technology project. It is about building a better-run business and creating an operating model that can support Konsyg as we continue to scale internationally.”
Technology in Support of People
Konsyg sees automation as an important part of its future operating model, particularly where technology can reduce repetitive work, improve information flow and give teams greater visibility into the business.
The company’s approach is not to replace the human element of B2B sales, but to build stronger infrastructure around it.
Complex B2B sales still depend on understanding businesses, navigating buying environments, developing relationships and having credible commercial conversations. Konsyg intends to use technology to give its teams more time and better information to focus on those activities.
Sumit Sharma said:
“Konsyg is at a stage where the decisions we make about operations today will shape how effectively the company can scale tomorrow. My focus will be on understanding how work moves across the organisation, simplifying where we can and using automation where it solves a real operational problem. The goal is stronger systems, better visibility and less unnecessary complexity, so our teams can focus more of their time on work that creates value for our clients and the business.”
Sharma will formally join Konsyg in September 2026 and will work closely with the company’s leadership and global teams.
His appointment strengthens Konsyg’s senior leadership across operations and automation as the company continues to build the infrastructure required for its next stage of international growth.
