WEXTL surpasses 1,000 native app integrations as businesses increasingly use its AI Workflow Builder to create scalable automations from written prompts.
-- WEXTL®, the workflow automation platform developed by MAXMEL Tech Ltd., is pleased to announce it has surpassed 1,000 supported native app integrations within its first year. The milestone follows the late July 2026 release of the platform’s AI Workflow Builder, which allows organizations to create and deploy automated workflows from written prompts.
Early usage data indicates growing interest in this approach. Among organizations that enabled the feature, the proportion of workflows created from prompts rose to 38.5%, according to internal WEXTL platform data. Instead of manually assembling each stage of an automation, users can describe the intended process and allow the builder to develop the workflow.
The milestone reflects a change in how businesses are approaching automation. For years, creating sophisticated workflows often required teams to map processes, connect individual applications and maintain those connections as operational needs changed. WEXTL was developed to reduce that workload while retaining visibility into how each process runs.
At its core, the platform brings AI agents, business applications and human approval steps together within a visual workflow environment. Organizations can use these tools to automate processes in areas such as marketing, sales, finance, customer support, human resources and general operations. Human-in-the-loop approval capabilities are included across WEXTL plans, allowing designated employees to review important actions before a workflow proceeds.
“There is considerable potential in this market, even as the initial AI hype begins to settle,” says Maxim Melnic, CEO of MAXMEL Tech Ltd. “After years of operating StartAutomate and helping companies implement process automation, I have seen where existing platforms leave businesses with unresolved problems. WEXTL was created in response to that gap, and the demand we are seeing for prompt-built workflows indicates that organizations are ready for a more practical way to adopt AI automation.”
WEXTL grew from the experience of StartAutomate®, an automation agency operated by MAXMEL Tech Ltd. Feedback gathered through years of client implementation work helped shape the platform, including its focus on scalability, predictable pricing and access to integrations that support a broad range of business systems.
Data controls were also considered in the development of the AI Workflow Builder. Organizations can disable AI-assisted building for workflow areas involving sensitive information, including selected run-history data. WEXTL states that its AI agents can be trained using samples from which personally identifiable information has been removed, helping businesses limit the exposure of sensitive data while retaining the context required to build functional workflows.
These controls are intended to support organizations managing privacy requirements, including those working within GDPR- and HIPAA-sensitive environments. Businesses remain responsible for evaluating their own regulatory obligations and configuring workflows according to their internal policies.
Beyond its AI-assisted building capabilities, WEXTL provides a visual workflow canvas, scheduling, analytics, audit logs, versioning, webhooks and custom JavaScript functions. Its AI agents can work with approved tools and connected applications, while filters and human review points provide additional control over automated decisions and actions.
MAXMEL Tech Ltd. plans to continue expanding WEXTL’s AI-building capabilities over the coming year. The company expects development to be guided by real-world workflow activity and feedback from organizations using the platform to automate recurring business processes.
