Former AIG Knowledge Management & InfoGov VP Julie Heller Joins Lighthouse as VP of Sales

Legal Ops Expert Possesses More than Two Decades of eDiscovery, Information Governance Experience

Lighthouse, a leader in technology-enabled eDiscovery, compliance, and information governance services, has named Julie Heller vice president of sales.

Heller brings more than 25 years of experience in eDiscovery and information governance to her role with Lighthouse. She was most recently with AIG, where she served as vice president in the legal operations group, head of legal knowledge management and information governance, and a certified information governance officer. While there, she oversaw information lifecycle management, content management, taxonomy development and classification, legal hold, record retention, data preservation, and legacy data disposition processes. In addition, she led the eDiscovery management program for six years. Heller also served as president of AIG’s New York and U.S. Women & Allies Employee Resource Groups (ERGs).

“Julie is a leading force in eDiscovery and information governance, constantly leveraging her in-house experience and seeking out innovative ways to help clients navigate their toughest challenges, and we are excited to welcome her to Lighthouse,” said Bill Mariano, Lighthouse Chief Revenue Officer. “Along with her exceptional abilities, Julie’s commitment to employee resource groups and helping others make connections and uplift each other reflects and enhances our belief at Lighthouse in creating a workplace where everyone can be true to themselves and thrive.”

Prior to AIG, she spent time in practice support at several AmLaw firms in a variety of eDiscovery project management and legal technology management roles, as well in client services on the vendor side. She holds a B.A. from Yale University and an M.S. from Columbia University. Outside of work, Heller is a board member and sings with the New York City Master Chorale.

“I’m excited to join Lighthouse, whose deep bench of industry experts and innovative technology, especially the AI tools they’ve been developing for years, have so much potential to help clients address persistent challenges,” said Heller. “I’ve spent my career asking one guiding question: What problems are we trying to solve for? I’m looking forward to helping Lighthouse clients solve their problems and achieve their goals while optimizing resources and outcomes.”
