Kaplan Wins Prestigious 2025 BIG Award for Business in the Education Category

Global education company Kaplan has been named a winner of the 2025 BIG Awards for Business in the Education category by the Business Intelligence Group. Established in 2012, the BIG Awards for Business represent the premier global recognition program celebrating companies, products, and leaders who deliver transformative results across all industries.

Kaplan’s All Access License®, the specific product that won the award, empowers colleges and universities to provide all of their students with access to Kaplan’s industry-leading test prep for admissions exams, licensure, credentialing programs, and workforce readiness programs, with zero out-of-pocket costs for students, helping them to reach their ultimate career goals. Exams that students can prepare for with Kaplan for free include the GRE®, GMAT®, LSAT®, MCAT®, NCLEX-RN®, USMLE®, Uniform Bar Exam® and Certified Financial Planner®, among many others. Since Kaplan’s All Access License was launched in 2022, tens of thousands of students have collectively saved more than $50 million.

Among the many institutional partners of Kaplan’s All Access License are: Cleveland State University, Xavier University of Louisiana, Howard University, and Spelman College. At the government level, the Illinois Student Assistance Commission (ISAC), the state’s college access and financial aid agency, has contracted Kaplan to provide universal test prep and skills development courses to all students enrolled in Illinois’ 12 public universities; five Illinois community colleges are also included as part of a pilot program.

Gregory Marino, CEO, Kaplan North America, said:

“We’re thrilled to be recognized by the BIG Awards for Business. At Kaplan, innovation drives everything we do, and programs like our All Access License reflect our commitment to expanding opportunity and supporting student success. By partnering with colleges, universities, and state leaders, we aim to remove barriers, foster upward mobility, and ensure learners have the tools to reach their full potential. This award underscores the power of collaboration, creative solutions, and an unwavering focus on helping students succeed in their academic and professional journeys.”

Russ Fordyce, Chief Recognition Officer, Business Intelligence Group, said:

“This year's BIG Awards winners represent a fundamental evolution in business excellence. What distinguishes the 2025 cohort is their ability to balance cutting-edge innovation with rigorous measurement discipline. These organizations don't just promise transformation, they prove it with data, demonstrating that sustainable competitive advantage emerges when technological sophistication, ethical implementation, and quantifiable impact converge.”

This year has seen Kaplan win a number of other awards for its All Access License. In November, Inc. named Kaplan a winner in its fourth annual Power Partner Awards, which honors B2B organizations across the United States that have proven track records of helping businesses grow. Kaplan also won this award in 2024.

Winners are selected through rigorous peer evaluation by seasoned executives with deep expertise, ensuring that only authentic performance breakthroughs receive recognition.
