Piper Sandler Launches Private Markets Trading with Three Key Hires

Piper Sandler Companies (NYSE: PIPR), a leading investment bank, is pleased to announce the launch of private markets trading with three new hires. Patrick Gordon, Kyle Mooney and David Ilishah have joined the firm as managing directors and will be focused on trading equity shares of private companies.

All three hires join Piper Sandler from Forge Global. Mooney was a managing director and Gordon and Ilishah were senior directors in the Private Capital Markets group. Collectively the team brings nearly 20 combined years in the private securities business, where they have executed a broad range of transaction types primarily focused on venture secondaries and single-asset LP transfers.
