CTC Names Lauren Rauch and Josh Schubkegel as Co-CEOs

Effective January 1, 2026 Lauren Rauch and Josh Schubkegel will take over as Co-CEOs of the Chicago Trading Company (“CTC”) corporate group. Jonathan Grodnick, the firm’s current CEO, is stepping down and will remain on CTC’s Board of Directors.

Lauren Rauch has been with CTC for over 20 years, spending the majority of her career in trading before holding senior roles across Global Risk Management, Technology, and Operations. Drawing from her extensive trading background, she brings valuable market perspective to her role as Chief Operating Officer, where she has driven greater clarity, focus, and alignment across the firm. Josh Schubkegel joined CTC in 2023 and currently serves as the firm’s Chief Technology Officer. With a career spanning trading technology, fintech startups, and market-making firms, Josh brings a unique combination of technical depth, strategic judgment, and organizational leadership. His engineering mindset and collaborative style will be critical as CTC continues to scale its capabilities and expand its strategic footprint.
