Horizon Investments Named Asset Manager of the Year ($10 Billion in AUM and Under) by MMI & Barron’s

Third time in four years Horizon has been honored in the MMI/Barron’s Industry Awards for its innovation in designing solutions for investors and advisors

Horizon Investments, LLC, is today celebrating having been named Asset Manager of the Year (AUM of $10 billion or less) by MMI and Barron’s in the 2021 MMI/Barron’s Industry Awards, the winners of which were announced during a virtual ceremony late last week.

Horizon’s Goals-Based Solutions were specifically cited by the award organizers and this marks the third time in four years that Horizon has been honored by the MMI and Barron’s teams for the firm’s efforts in designing solutions for investors and financial advisors.

“At Horizon, it has long been our mission to empower those financial advisors who are embracing goals-based planning on behalf of their clients. Nominations for this year’s awards were reviewed and evaluated by a specially appointed MMI Industry Awards Steering Council and the MMI Membership Experience Committee (MEC). The council and committee represent all segments of MMI membership, including asset managers, wealth managers and solutions providers. The Steering Council and MEC reviewed all nominations based on:

  • Level of innovation and forward-thinking;
  • Potential to effect noticeable change in the investment advisory industry;
  • Advancement of existing investment advisory practices and protocols; and
  • Potential to deliver improved outcomes for financial advisors and investors.

Horizon was also awarded Asset Manager of the Year ($25 billion in AUM or less) in these same MMI/Barron’s Awards in both 2018 and 2019.
