Neurodivergent Empowerment Institute Announces "Celebrate & Connect" Grand Opening Wellness Event

Rewriting the future of neurodivergent and trauma-informed care through nervous system healing, metabolic and hormonal health, safety, and empowerment.

ST. PETERSBURG, FLORIDA / ACCESS Newswire / December 2, 2025 / The Neurodivergent Empowerment Institute (NEI), St. Pete's newest integrative healing center, gallery, and event space, is hosting a full-day grand opening wellness event, "Celebrate & Connect," on Sunday, December 14, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at 2200 2nd Ave S, Suite 134, St. Petersburg, FL.

The event features a powerful lineup of talks that weave together a common theme:

Rewriting the future of neurodivergent and trauma-informed care through nervous system healing, metabolic and hormonal health, safety, and empowerment.

Throughout the day, clinicians, practitioners, and lived-experience leaders will explore how autism, trauma, hormones, metabolism, identity, and energy intersect-and how innovative, evidence-informed care can help people reclaim their lives.

Core Theme: Whole-Person, Neurodivergent-Affirming Healing

The talks are designed to work like a tapestry - each one highlighting a different layer of the healing process:

  • Autism & Truth-Telling - unpacking myths about autism, real causes under investigation, and what ethical, non-coercive support can look like.

  • Real-Life Accommodations - moving beyond paperwork to accommodations that actually work at home, school, and work.

  • Metabolism, Burnout & GLP-1s - exploring how blood sugar, inflammation, and metabolic health influence mood, energy, and burnout.

  • Women's Health & Menopause - centering the endocannabinoid system, hormones, sex, and identity in midlife and beyond.

  • Functional Genetics & Personalized Wellness - showing how DNA and functional testing can guide lifestyle shifts and targeted interventions.

  • PTSD & Divergent Neurology - examining how trauma impacts first responders and neurodivergent brains differently - and how treatment must adapt.

  • Veterans, Horses & Trauma Recovery - illustrating nervous system healing in real life, outside the four walls of a traditional clinic.

  • LGBTQ+ Safety & Inclusion - elevating psychological and physical safety for queer and trans community members in healthcare and beyond.

  • Autoimmunity, GLP-1s & Comorbid Conditions - unpacking the complex overlap between immune dysfunction, chronic illness, and neurodivergence.

  • Energy Medicine & Peptides - exploring how subtle energy work and targeted peptide therapies can support resilience, repair, and long-term regulation.

Taken together, these sessions create a big-picture view of healing: one that honors biology and identity, science and story, data and intuition.
